I am a mother, a wife, a homeschooler, and my current home is the one I have lived in the longest (4 years!). I love being from somewhere and have found that my roots are hungry to grow deep. These deepening roots provide me stability and comfort. I didn’t realize this stability was a thing until recently. I am relishing the mundane!

I love being outside, animals, and growing plants. I constantly find joy and healing from God’s creation. I realize this is nothing new or unique, but still I wanted to share with you some of the wonder that I have found - and think about why.

I have degrees! PhD in Biblical Studies (University of St Andrews), MLitt in the Theological Interpretation of Scripture (yes, a mouthful - also St Andrews), BA in Biblical Languages and a certificate in Product Design (Flatiron School). I was a post doctoral fellow at the University of Pretoria, and Associate Professor and Director of Bible and Theology at North Central University. I love the visions of the world that my education opened up for me.
